As the CEO of The Insides Company, I am leading our global healthcare vision of a ‘world that refeeds’. Our mission is to deliver, on a global scale, a new platform of medical technologies that we have developed for patients that are suffering from a condition called severe intestinal failure. These new medical technologies are called chyme reinfusion therapies.Severe intestinal failure is a catastrophe that occurs when a patient’s intestines are no longer able to provide the nutrition needed to sustain life. This can occur secondary to intestinal disease, abdominal trauma, or surgery. For the greater majority of people around the world, if severe intestinal failure strikes then their chances of survival are low, and palliative care may be their only option.We are changing this at a global level, by scaling our innovative chyme reinfusion therapies to enable patients to access clinical nutrition from their very own oral food intake, so they can sustain themselves and survive their catastrophe. Our platform of technologies are the first and only clinical nutrition solution in world history that can scale globally across all countries, all sectors of society, and environmental living conditions. I have held CEO positions in the medical device and digital therapeutics sectors consecutively for the last 25 years, bringing new breakthrough therapies to the world. I am excited and honoured to work each day with such a talented team, and our highly valued partners, clinical customers, and amazing patients, to deliver on global healthcare initiatives.
