About Garth Lewis

Any job worth doing is worth doing right. My father taught me this simple truth at a very early age, and it has served me well throughout my life. As a technical communicator, this means more than simply delivering a user guide, Help system, or policy/process/procedure document. It means providing service – doing what it takes to deliver complex information in the most understandable and usable way possible for my specific audience. The professional value I bring to the table includes:-- I have mastered a lot of tools (RoboHelp, Visio, Word, etc., etc.), but more importantly I have mastered information design – the principles of presenting information in such a way as to maximize the human brain’s ability to absorb it.-- I am intelligent and indefatigable – if I don’t know it, I will learn it. Whatever it takes to get the job done.-- I don’t care who gets credit as long as my audience gets the information it needs.-- I hate idle time. If I don’t have enough to do, I will find more.-- I work and play well with others, whether it’s fellow team members or subject matter experts.-- I never met a deadline I didn’t like.If I can be of service, reach out to me. I would love to see what I can do for you.

Listed skills include Information Design, Information Delivery, Robohelp, Microsoft Office, and 46 others.
