My career began in a manufacturing plant as a drill press operator in Elkhart, IN, and in 1972 enlisted in the U.S. Navy and spent better than 7 years serving on 3 Destroyers and a PT Boat, stationed in Japan, HI, and Calif. In 1979 I joined the U.S. Coast Guard and served in Search & Rescue and Maritime Law Enforcement primarily on the East Coast & the Atlantic with a final assignment on the Ohio River at Louisville, KY. After 12 years enlisted I was commissioned an officer and served 10 years as a commissioned officer. After better than 22 years of service to our Nation, I chose to retire from the Service and began employment as a Plant Manager, went on to be a General Sales Manager in electrical & mechanical wholesale distribution and in 1997 became an Executive Recruiter. Now, with better than 27 years (and counting) in the Staffing industry as a Recruiter & Manager of Recruiters, I have recruited & placed hundreds of candidates with many great companies. I served nearly 8 years as company President, 7 years as Managing Partner, and throughout my years continuously placed candidates and worked with companies as a Recruiter. In 2010 I relocated to NC and joined MRI Raleigh as the Managing Partner. In 2017 with a great business partner, we opened the Executive Staffing Firm of Crimson Consulting Group where we focus on the Construction & Building Materials industry which includes Sales, Manufacturing, Distribution, and the Trades at the Executive level.Specialties: Over the years I've placed candidates in Const, Eng, Mfg, and Sales.
