Throughout my professional career i have worked as an entrepeneur and excecutive manager for 2 companies: RoboMop International AS and Thomas Hill AS.Starting with my travels to China in 1999, I gained valuable experience in international trade and operations. I have 17-year experience in Chinese sourcing and business development.RoboMop was the very first autonomous robotic floor cleaner the world has ever seen. The patent gave me the opportunity to launch internationally. RoboMop has been sold in 65 countries leading to sound experience in international marketing and sales through pitching multinational companies and attending international tradeshows in Asia/Europe/USA. This has also at several occasions lead top level negotiations with larger international organisations. Other business fields of experience: Patent strategies and protection, product and concept development, retail, TV shopping, Ecommerce, product assurance and certification.The establishment of Thomas Hill Interior, gave me the opportunity to dive into the world of ecommerce for the Scandinavian market. I built a Magento platform and set up long-term partnerships with manufacturers on several continents. Furthermore, I have tuned the marketing through tools such as AdWords marketing/remarketing, DoubleClick, responders, Influencers, newsletters, Facebook, Instagram and Google Analytics. Thomas Hill gave me a strong interest in digital strategies to improve business flow and seize opportunities as well as reaching the sustainable goals we as society is committed to. In respect to the latter, and my time building Robomop for the global market, I have seen the linear economic forces in play from an international perspective: From factory working-conditions and economic forces in China; the strong commercial market forces of multinationals; and down to customer level purchase psycology. I have assisted the waste industry in the shift towards a circular economy. Particularly i have focused on digital tracking of waste with the purpose of slimming the waste stream, identifying and separating valuable fractions through interpersonal change management. Finally i have connected and supported new circular business models that make use of the new fractions. Transportation represents 1/5 of global CO2 emissons. In order to reach sustainable goals, we need to fundamentally change how we move around. Making public transportation more attractive, efficient and sustainable are key drivers to make this happen. I am now proudly working as a business developer for Tide AS to do my part.
