From the initial stages of conceptualization to the final moments of the symposium, I was deeply involved in… Show more During my time as an event intern for Ignite, India's largest symposium dedicated to increasing accessibility to breast reconstruction surgery and sparking conversations about body image and breast cancer, I had the opportunity to dive into a truly impactful role from January to July.My responsibilities were varied and encompassed all aspects of event planning and execution. From the initial stages of conceptualization to the final moments of the symposium, I was deeply involved in ensuring that everything ran smoothly. This meant coordinating logistics, managing schedules, and liaising with vendors and partners to make sure all the pieces came together seamlessly.Beyond the administrative tasks, I was deeply committed to the mission of Ignite. I engaged in outreach efforts to raise awareness about breast cancer and body image issues, using social media campaigns and community events to amplify our message and attract a diverse audience to participate in the conversation.During the symposium itself, I will be present at every turn, assisting speakers, managing registration, and facilitating interactive sessions and workshops. Creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere is key, and I will work tirelessly to ensure that attendees felt empowered to share their stories and connect with the resources available. Show less
