*Project lead in the specification, development, test, release and support of multiple products pertaining to database, data connectivity, application deployment and computational finance applications.*Lead sixteen engineers in the design and development of computational finance and data connectivity applications.*Provide guidance to adjacent engineering teams, documentation management and quality engineering on product development and release as well as product and people management to improve cross functional team interactions and to facilitate an efficient product delivery mechanism for the customer.*Contribute to the marketing, sales, release and support of all products in long term strategic planning, account review and pre and post sales client interactions.*Program financial, data delivery and GUI tools in MATLAB, Java, C++, Python, VBA, C, SQL, .NET, ActiveX, Javascript, HTML, and Fortran in the Windows and UNIX environments.*Develop interface in Java and MATLAB to all JDBC/ODBC compliant databases.*Develop interfaces in MATLAB, Java, C++, VBA, C, ActiveX and .NET using 3rd party API’s to data providers including Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, FactSet, Haver Analytics, Kx kdb+, X_TRADER, CQG, and Interactive Brokers.*Author the Financial Toolbox for use with MATLAB including developing tools for portfolio optimization and management, fixed income and derivatives pricing and date/time functionality.*Conduct semiannual performance and annual compensation reviews providing feedback on all aspects of an individual’s development role, professional and career objectives, and setting short and long term expectations on product and strategic deliverables.*Screen, interview, and hire multiple software engineers and computer scientists in the areas of computational finance and application deployment by assessing their abilities and corporate cultural fit using behavioral based interview questions and probing the depth and experience of technical domain knowledge.
