Alta Industrial Automation Ltd (AIA) was a contract service company providing innovative design and manufacturing services.As the founder of the company, I recognized the future was in cellular communications. We started developing our expertise in cellular data communication embedded systems in the late 90's as early adopters with CDPD, 1x, GPRS, and IDEN technologies. We started developing mobile apps since the very first java enabled cellular phone. In 2016 the company was rebranded as Asset Monitoring Solutions Inc and we shut down the contract manufacturing services to focus on IoT solutions.

Managed the development team and contract design services.- Multidiscipline team with hardware, firmware, software developers etc. - Designed and manufactured products that shipped globally to Australia, China, South America, Africa etc.- Developed as many as 50 designs per year.- Embedded system including mechanical design, circuit board design, graphical design- Products designed for various industries such as oil and gas, agriculture, mining, food processing, automotive, medical, telecommunication.- Expertise in embedded systems utilizing data acquisition, control systems, cellular communication and wireless technologies.- Design to specified standards such as PTCRB, IC, FCC, CSA, and various levels of hazardous certifications.

Managed the contract electronic production floor with up to 25 staff members.- Designed, procured, and setup the production floor for low to medium volume circuit board assembly with fully automated and semi automated machines.- Automated machine operator and trained staff to operate assembly machines.- Trained in micro sectioning, defect analysis and IPC610 quality assurance.
