Serves as the Veterans Policy and Programs Administrator, responsible for developing and implementing statewide programs for Ohio Veterans. Collaborates with the Ohio Governor’s Office, JobsOhio, and other state agencies to create and execute a national veteran talent attraction campaign. Acts as the primary liaison between the Department of Veterans Services and the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Ohio National Guard, and Ohio Department of Higher Education, coordinating employer outreach efforts.

As an Adjunct Professor at Ohio University's Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service, I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Human Resources and Public Administration. My responsibilities include developing and delivering dynamic lectures, creating course materials such as syllabi and assignments, and evaluating student performance through exams, projects, and assignments. I provide timely, constructive feedback to help students succeed academically, while fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment both remotely and in person.

Provide expert advice to senior military leadership (executive level) on resolving complaints related to equal opportunity issues, including discrimination and harassment. Design and deliver interactive anti-discrimination and anti-harassment training for military personnel, facilitating sessions for up to 100 participants at a time. Successfully trained approximately 1,000 participants across four locations, consistently earning high survey feedback scores (95% average). Investigate, interview, and counsel military members on equal opportunity violations, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and local policies. Serve on the Base Community Council, leading diversity and inclusion initiatives, such as attracting diverse recruits, enhancing leadership diversity, and addressing trends related to diversity and inclusion.

To strengthen the junior talent pipeline and enhance community engagement, I established partnerships with five high schools and universities, and successfully designed, launched, and managed the inaugural internship program. I oversaw the entire intern lifecycle, from recruitment to full-time employment, saving over $400K in management costs by eliminating third-party recruitment fees. The program achieved an impressive 85% talent retention rate.I coordinated job postings and interviews in accordance with state and local policies, hiring for roles such as rail professionals, engineers, customer service representatives, attorneys, and accountants. I ensured a fair and consistent interview process, serving as the primary oversight to guarantee candidates were a strong fit for both the role and the organization.In addition, I managed the onboarding process, including vendor coordination, background checks, and the provision of federally mandated safety equipment and materials. I led the development and implementation of a virtual orientation program, which included company overviews, benefits presentations, and meetings with senior leaders. This initiative improved process efficiency by 40%, increasing accuracy and streamlining operations.
