Review technical engineering submissions on the building of energy infrastructure being proposed across 4 right of ways (above ground and underground) on behalf of the Region, and the shared service partners 40%• Request appropriate studies as required• Authorized to make technical engineering decisions on the submissions on behalf of all parties and conformity to their applicable policies, by-laws and based on the technical merit of such submissions• Co-ordinate road use for movement of oversized loads and construction encroachment activities pertaining to the Niagara Region Wind Farm.. Supervise contractors in the field ensuring all work is performed according to agreements and technical submissions 35%• Observe and document work being performed by contractors• Responsible for good record keeping on the Niagara Wind Farm project, including daily reports and field drawings and video for pavement degradation• Categorize and document asset conditions pre, during and post project; and make recommendations for restoring such assets• Responsible for relevant data collection and documentation such as digital log book notes that may be used for court evidence or future problems. . Collaborate, partner and act as liaison with shared service partners, i.e. local area municipalities and FWRN LP in order to support and build community compliance with provisions of By-laws, policies, etc. 10%• Liaise and provide excellent customer service with residents; investigating and resolving issues and complaints. Act as the Project Manager, Niagara Wind Tower Project, to manage the project and providing leadership and direction to consultants, contractors and staff involved with the project. 15%• Prepare reports and presentations as required. Ensures that all work undertaken and constructed to an appropriate standard in compliance with applicable legislative and regulated requirements.
