Assistant Professor, SccoCenter For The Partially Sighted Oct 2011 - Aug 2015Culver City, CaI was the coordinator for the 4th yr. SCCO externship students from October, 2011-August, 2015. I was a co-preceptor for Low Vision Residency from 2001-15. I also became Coordinator of Low Vision at the Optometric Center of Los Angles, the main Los Angelesoutreach site for the 4th year interns from SCCO from 7/2011-5/2014.For 3 years, I had teaching responsibilities for more than half of the SCCOclass and my aim was to greatly increase the number of practitioners in Low Vision, and increase its' visibility inhealthcare. I think that I became influential in a number of student externs through those years getting interested in furthering low vision rehabilitation.
