Heavy Equipment Operator
CurrentResponsibilities: • Operated a 40-ton rock truck to transport materials, such as rocks, soil, and construction debris, within designated work areas. • Conducted pre-operational checks to ensure equipment functionality and promptly reported any issues to the maintenance team. • Safely loaded and unloaded materials onto the rock truck using appropriate equipment, maintaining a focus on efficiency. • Transported materials to designated locations, adhering to project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines. • Collaborated with the project team to coordinate material transportation and effectively communicated to maintain workflow efficiency. • Maintained accurate records of daily activities, including fuel consumption, hours of operation, and incidents or equipment malfunctions. • Adhered to strict safety protocols, consistently wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and operating machinery in a safe manner. • Assisted in general equipment maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance and longevity. • Kept updated on industry trends, safety regulations, and equipment advancements to continually enhance skills and knowledge.Requirements: • Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, specifically operating 40-ton rock trucks or similar heavy machinery. • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. • Strong understanding of earthworks operations, including material transportation, site safety, and project requirements. • Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. • Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other relevant documents. • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments. • Excellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness. •Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols. •Effective communication , teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues
