I have over 30 years’ experience in the planning, design, management, operation, construction and maintenance of transport and maritime infrastructure including roads, rail, bridges, port and coastal infrastructure, and buildings. Specific areas of expertise include technical, commercial and management aspects of the development of roads, rail, bridges, container, general cargo, bulk and car terminals including heavy-duty pavements, wharves, jetties and dolphins, foreshore stabilisation works, dredging and reclamation, buildings and industrial sheds, as well as, public boating facilities and seawalls. I also have more than 17 years’ experience in leading, managing and growing transport and maritime businesses; 9 years with the Port of Brisbane and 8 1/2 years with KBR.I have experience in delivering projects under different delivery models including Lump Sum, Schedule of Rates, Rise and Fall, Design then Construct, D&C, GMP, Incentivised and Alliance models.Throughout my career, I have undertaken senior roles and have developed a strong commercial awareness of the transport and maritime businesses, as well as, skills in leadership, management and business management. I have proven track records in project management, design management and supervision of transport and port/marine infrastructure projects and have a deep technical understanding when it comes to the design of infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, port and coastal assets.
