Mr. Bender is a board member and co-owner of several privately held commercial real estate companies holding single tenant, strip mall, and medical office buildings. He also is a co-founder of a real estate agency which served Grand Rapids, Grand Haven and Lansing, Michigan. In addition, he has served on several non-profit boards of directors. Mr. Bender has experience in the entertainment industry representing motion picture and theatrical talent including film producers, actors, radio talent, recording artists, and writers. He has served as production counsel on several made for television productions and independent feature films.He is published on a wide range of topics and has lectured for several of the sections of the State Bar of Michigan and at various law school symposiums and seminars. Also served as an adjunct professor of law at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
