I have worked for Sam’s Club for the last 22 years, where I have managed and supervised almost every aspect of the business in the following roles:Operations Manager – ensure compliance and efficient building operations, human resources, front-end operations, and financialsGrocery Manager – responsible for merchandising of the grocery and freezer/cooler areasHardlines Manager – managed the seasonal and non-grocery areas of the buildingFresh Manager – responsible for all fresh areas, including bakery and caféMembership/Marketing Manager – managed the outside sales team, organized marketing efforts, supervised customer serviceOvernight Assistant Manager – responsible for all receiving activities and merchandising of the entire store I also worked at Walmart as an Assistant Manager – front end, customer service, sport goods, hardware, and electronics Presently, I am the Hardlines team leader and handle the seasonal moves to ensure we are merchandise accordingly. I voluntarily moved from assistant manager to a team leader position to work in a day shift role for better work-life balance, after over 5 years of working nights.
