Working on Community Mental Health Transformation Project that aims to create an inclusive partnership of voluntary and statutory organisations across West Yorkshire. We want to encourage organisations to readily share best practice, replicate what works well, support each other and invests in both integrated core community mental health services and specialist regional models. This partnership will be underpinned by the principles of “no wrong door” and “no cliff edge” between services. I am currently talking to as many staff, partners and stakeholders as possible to discuss their ideas and suggestions around the type of training that can make sure this transformation happens in the way we want to see it, and which ensures equitable access to training for all. Over the next few months, I will be developing and undertaking a training needs analysis that I will be involving stakeholders from across all localities. This analysis will help map the skills, development and training needs of the existing workforce as well as newly recruited and future employees that are pivotal in delivering the ambition of the West Yorkshire Community Mental Health Transformation Programme.

Managed different Project Coordinators, Project Leads and Development Workers. Working with and supporting third sector organisations across Leeds and West Yorkshire. Worked in partnership with Leeds City Council, NHS and other statutory partners and private sector partners.Responsibilities included coordinating VAL's training programme, its funding and support project, fundraising, managing grant programmes, assessor and verifier for Volunteering kite mark, undertaking commissioned evaluation and research, community development, project management,member of the senior management team and facilitating VAL's Equality & Diversity Committee.Previous responsibilities included coordinating the Leeds Volunteer Centre, delivering a wide range of training including Volunteer Management, Coordinating Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV), co-ordination of Leeds Volunteer Managers Network and Leeds Funding Support Network.
