"Partnering to End the Global HIV Epidemic by 2030"

A tax-exempt 501(c)(3) humanitarian initiative founded "to reduce the morbidity and mortality from HIV and sexually transmitted infections by fighting stigma & discrimination, combating drug addiction and ending homelessness and via prevention programs, education, advocacy and treatment, with a focus on the LGBTQ and disenfranchised, underserved HIV communities in the developed and developing worlds, ultimately to end HIV as a global health crisis".

CIRCLE CARE Center's mission was to EMPOWER our GLBTQ community to lead healthy, full, rewarding lives without limits based on sexual orientation and gender identity through 1) Education to reduce LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS stigma and to end discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, 2) Medical and psychosocial support, 3) Pharmacy access for all regardless of ability to pay, 4) Outreach throughout the state of Connecticut to unite all members of the LGBTQ community, 5) Welcoming of all members of the LGBTQ community regardless of sexual identity, gender identity, financial ability, and/or psychosocial or behavioral issues, 6) Equality for all regardless of sexual identity or gender identity, and 7) Research opportunities to understand our community’s needs and activities and to further the fields of HIV, STD, and chronic Hepatitis medicine.

The mission of WHC initially was to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases and reduce the associated morbidity and mortality in the developed and developing world through treatment, patient advocacy and assistance, and education. Dr. Blick's first three non-profit initiatives were BEAT AIDS PROJECT ZIMBABWE, The CIRCLE CARE Center, Norwalk CT, and HIV EQUAL.

Dr. Gary Blick's 15-Year vision was realized as BEAT AIDS PROJECT ZIMBABWE (BAPZ, Bringing Education, Advocacy, and Treatment for AIDS to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe), whose mission is to save the next generation of Zimbabweans by 1) preventing mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of HIV/AIDS to protect unborn children from acquiring HIV/AIDS, and 2) improving the morbidity and mortality and future of orphans and children with HIV/AIDS. Why Victoria Falls Zimbabwe? Dr. Gary Blick became spiritually connected to Zimbabwe after sending HIV medications to an HIV+ couple from Victoria Falls since 2001, long before we knew HIV medications could prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV, and his HIV-negative godson turns 15 in July 2017. He has been welcomed with open arms by the government and wonderful people of Zimbabwe, having signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government in 2012 and being granted Private Volunteer Organization (PVO #18/2013) status in 2013. In June 2015, Dr. Blick dedicated and opened the State-of-the-Art HIV and general medical clinic, the Blick Memorial Clinic, named by the Zimbabweans in memory of Dr. Blick's father, which has serviced over 4200+ Zimbabweans. With Thomas Evans, Dr. Blick collaborated with the ZIM Ministry of Health and Child Care and the National AIDS Council to launch the enormously successful HIV EQUAL Music Galas to fight HIV stigma & discrimination, testing over 12,800 Zimbabweans in the first 8 festivals, and diagnosing and immediately linking-to-care 11.8% with new HIV infection.
