A programme is ongoing, the purpose of which is to migrate CFS’s data and services onto new systems developed, supported and owned by Capita. This included analysis of each of the original Business Requirements to identify in which test phase it should be demonstrated that it has been met in.Identified the Joint UAT activities required within the project. This included engaging the Business Users in the testing process, QA of the Business Processes for accuracy and requirement coverage, working with Business Users to identify scenarios and test data covering both “customer lifecycle” testing and distinct business activities within the end-to-end business process. The Business Processes are split into work streams covering both CFS and the 3rd party so worked closely with the 3rd party to create end-to-end scenarios. Defined and planned the QA activities that CFS will carry out during the 3rd party System Testing e.g. gap analysis, QA of scripts for correctness and quality, eye witnessing execution and QA of results post execution. Planned the QA of CFS’s IS team to ensure the development of the new interfaces and associated batch jobs has been properly defined and has been fully tested.Assisted in planning the Joint SIT (System Integration Testing) activities. This phase is to test that the data passed via interfaces from the 3rd party is valid and is then processed correctly within CFS.Assisted in QA of the Data Migration process. This is the first step Provident has taken to involve third party credit agencies to assist in risk management during lending decisions. I was asked to review the specifications because I have previously been involved in interface testing of a third party credit Agency. Whilst at OneTel, the credit agency used was Experian. During my time there I liaised with Experian to ensure that data was being passed in the correct format.
