Provided process improvement initiatives along with automation use, refinement & training for this wine-maker/contract packing/hospitality business based on using the Netsuite ERP system.This involved creating work flows & reports, creating custom records, lists and dashboards and training the users on their use.Where specific business processes were not being used in Netsuite, I developed bespoke solutions utilizing the Microsoft Power stack, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint & One Drive along with MS Access. These were for business processes in Manufacturing, Planning and Quality Control, with a full Quality Management suite encompassing production, warehousing and distribution.

Lead the implementation and refinement of the Abel ERP system for this health product manufacturing business, working with the solution supplier to modify their product to fit the industry needs.After a sojourn off-shore in 2017/18, while providing remote assistance, I returned to take over the migration and implementation of the Netsuite ERP for manufacturing, warehousing and finance. This included doing the data migration from Abel and setting up business rules, reporting systems, providing training, and testing programs.Where specific business processes were not supported I developed customized applications using Power BI, MySQL and MS Access for the operations team, writing code in SQL and Visual Basic and the MS Power languages.

I am a part owner and part creator of The Kingslander, a large sports bar in Auckland.I took part in the full development and operation of this business from scratch to the successful hospitality business it is.This involved, concept design, contract negotiation, system development, recruitment, funding & budget management, marketing, operational management and team building.

I started as a Sales Rep, moving into Sales management roles, area, regional then national, culminating in a newly developed role of BI Manager.The sales & sales management roles involved the traditional skills of customer relationship management, negotiation along with strategy development, team building and leadership.During this time I assisted in the development and implementation of the companies first sales team CRM automation project, working with the external software developers to customize the system to our business needs.The BI role involved:- full analytics and reporting for the national exec, sales and marketing teams.- Development of strategy based on market insights.- improvement in production planning and scheduling.
