Re-location to Qatar as Project Manager on a long term contract with overall responsibility for L&R Ltd operations based in Qatar, L&R Ltd was commissioned by the Qatari Royal family to manage the VVIP rooms of solid and fibrous plaster internal envelope finishes, for a 17,000 m2 luxury Royal Palace.Consisting of 232 rooms of highly decorative and opulent architectural plaster ceiling and wall installations.Responsible for the daily line management of up to 60 no UK, Arabic and Asian craft and trade operatives.Responsible for setting up manufacturing workshops in Qatar, developing business relationships with local companies for labour and material supplies and co-ordinating material deliveries between UK and Qatar.Responsible for liaising with French interior designers, Arabic main contractor and consultant, MEP contractor and consultant and various European and Middle Eastern contractors.Attend regular progress meetings and provide regular co-ordination programmes and progress update reports.Responsible for health and safety on site.

Working as UK Contracts Manager with the responsibility for managing the design, manufacture and installation of solid and fibrous plaster projects in the UK.Working on various projects from listed buildings with conservation offices, English Heritage, new construction projects, refurbishment projects, fast track commercial and retail works and special one off client commissions.Responsible for the condition surveys of plaster ceilings for building owners with clients ranging from the UK Royal family, major theatre owners in the UK and a selection of listed Local Authority owned buildings.Responsible for the cost control of projects in conjunction with monthly valuations to clients and subcontract payments.Attend regular progress meetings and provide progress/co-ordination update reports on project program/costing/delays including health and safety reporting.
