I have run Pipefix since 1997 and have transformed the business from it's origins as an offshoot of Wessex Water focusing on the Domestic market to it's current position as the leading Commercial Water Services contractor in the South West, delivering a range of services that covers the whole spectrum from minor repairs to larger planned projects. By focusing on the safe and timely delivery of complex projects for a discerning customer base we have built a brand that is recognised for Quality and Excellence, as well as being known as the company to turn to in the early stages of a project when expert advice is required. At the same time we have invested heavily in our customer management systems to ensure that we can deliver smaller responsive jobs in a timely and efficient manner. In many ways putting pipes in the ground is reconisably similar now to when I joined the industry over 40 years ago, however the changes behind the scenes in terms of Health & Safety and the management of Risk have rightly changed the amount of work we put in before we even get to site. We have always recognised the role that technology has to play in our business and have kept in front of the crowd when it comes to Cloud based systems and Mobile Deployment. Things that are now taken for granted by most customers, but require a great deal of planning and forward thinking. I am enormously proud of the business I have developed and the team I have built to keep us at the very forefront of the water services sector.
