Worked as a Content Strategist for the AT&T Design Technology group as a member of the Device Return project for AT&T Mobility. Developed a content strategy to provide communications and instructions to guide customers returning a mobile device for trade-in, upgrade, buyer’s remorse, warranty, or insurance. Contributed UX design elements to provide content to the customer throughout the process using device screen text, graphics, and video, as well as, screen and packaging QR codes, SMS, and email.

Worked remotely as an Information Architect (contract) for Wells Fargo in the Customer Experience (CX) department of the Digital Channels Group of wellsfargo.com. Created documentation for project teams charged with migrating content and URLs from the retiring Documentum CMS to the SDL Tridion CMS. Created an inventory of all assets in Documentum. Created site map matrix documents that served as master blueprints for development (migrate/retire, redirects, and IA), content strategy (content plan and copy deck), and content authors.Consulted with Line of Business (LOB) groups on changes to the information architecture in the new CMS. Approved new URLs. Created a master site map matrix for the wellsfargo.com Documentum Decommissioning group that tracked remaining Documentum assets and their planned dispositions and timelines. Worked as a contract Taxonomist for the Scale Digital Marketing group (North American Consumer Business) of Georgia-Pacific, LLC for the NACB Digital Asset Management System project.Received digital assets from external agencies and internal workgroups in preparation for bringing Georgia-Pacific digital assets in-house in a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. Analyzed and categorized digital assets and designed a hierarchical folder structure and a faceted taxonomy. Designed and maintained category-level taxonomies and strategies to consistently allow customers to find products quickly across homedepot.com.Created organized and intuitive taxonomies and faceted navigation (attributes) that increased page visits, conversion, revenue participation, and SEO ranking, and reduced bounce rate and exit rate.Designed and executed a comprehensive restructuring of the taxonomy and attributes for the Appliances category. Worked as a contract technical writer for TransQuest, Inc., on the Magellan reservations system project. TransQuest Information Solutions (TransQuest) began in 1995 as a joint venture between Delta Air Lines and AT&T to provide information technology services to the travel and transportation industries. It became Delta Technology, LLC in October 1997 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines.Researched specifications and design documents and interviewed subject matter experts. Wrote and published user guides for various modules of the Magellan system.Continued on as a contractor when TransQuest became Delta Technology (DT) in 1997 and became a Senior Technical Writer (permanent employee) in February 1998.Wrote System Administrator Guides, Data Dictionaries, and Programming Guides for Delta’s revenue management software. Wrote project documentation for software and code changes necessary to introduce Delta’s BusinessElite class service. Wrote software specifications for the SMART sales and inventory application. Designed an easy-to-use quick-reference document format to identify objects and functions.

Published user guides and system administration manuals for Aeronomics Incorporated’s custom client/server Revenue Management (yield management) software for the travel and hospitality industries worldwide. Wrote, edited, indexed, and produced graphics for the print and online documentation of major Aeronomics projects for the airline, hotel, and car rental industries. Provided publishing expertise resulting in improved formats, production solutions, and innovative content presentation. Designed and implemented a review process to provide input from the documentation group to the developers concerning usability of the application/GUI.
