Currently managing security operations for a large financial account within Scotland and Nort East England Delivering security solutions through innovation and to manage all risk and security operatioins to our Banking customer. Manage all establishment issues and recruitment. Identify and pursue new opportunities within the account Drive out inefficiencies and install a continuous improvement solutions, with cost saving being a key factor Build and maintain key relationships within Facilities, Security and supply partners through monthly KPI/SLA meetings. Oversee seven Site Managers across the portfolio by conducting Monthly Business Reviews Responsible for all welfare, disciplinary & support for 125+ staff.

The RBS Edinburgh West Campus is comprised of seven various corporate banking buildings including a high security Cash Centre with the World Headquarters campus incorporating the main building holding approximately 3500 staff and a retail “street” featuring a Tesco Metro, drycleaners, bookstore, hairdressers, mobile phone shop and more. Also on site is a stand-alone leisure centre, a children’s nursery, a 250 seat conference centre, a separate bar/restaurant and an 80 room hotel/business school. Responsible for approximately fifty officers incorporating various duties including; • Overseeing strict access control procedures at all buildings• Customer Liaison – Implementing and maintaining exceptional working relationships, Innovation and sharing best practice and the promotion of G4S achievements and capabilities.• Administration of company documentation – Assignment Instructions, Training Records, Audit document, KPI’s etc.• Employee Welfare – Complete monthly care visits with all officers, conduct quarterly OM18 reviews, resolve staff issues or concerns, and oversee all staff training.• Recruitment – Conduct interviews with all potential employees.• Employee Management – Maintain correct manning levels, create and maintain staff rotas and shift patterns, maintain officers daily performance and personal standards, conduct investigations and disciplinaries• Yearly holiday planning for entire team• Administration of staff wages and pay related queries• Also responsible for a satellite site in Livingston manned 24/7 by one officer.

•Liaise between Securicor, the customer's Facilities Management and Scottish Power management to continually strengthen client relationships •Constant re-assessments of client and visitor requirements to provide the best service possible•Plan/co-ordinate relevant meetings and carry out any structured changes agreed by the customer across the contract.•Supervision of site staff including organisation of officers weekly rotas•Regular staff assessments and development•Motivation of officers and development of a strong “teamwork” ethic

•Main duties included the day-to-day supervision of staff at various venues including major events.•Work out rotas for up to 2500 shifts per week for approx. 500 staff.•Bring in new business for the company and provide advice, guidance and costings for clients.•Organise wages for staff and provide training for new and existing staff.•Work to strict profitability targets.•Implement and conduct disciplinary procedures in accordance with instruction from employment law consultants.

•Fulfilling interior and window merchandising for major clients including HMV, Virgin, Polygram and EMI.•Building and installing displays in accordance with current promotional activities and client requirements.•Optimising display impact through the effective use of all available resources.•Ensuring that company uniformity standards are maintained in each outlet.•Maintaining high standards of service and positive client relations.•Co-ordinated interior and window fitting out activities in a variety of retail establishments.•Liaised with clients to identify their specific requirements.Built displays and fixtures/fittings

•Main duties included the day-to-day running of the nightclub.•Organisation of promotional nights events.•Co-ordination of a broad range of public relations activities within the nightclub.•Organisation of PR promotions.•Devised and implemented strategies to increase the profile of the club.•Responsible for bar staff, PR staff and Stewards including staff rotas and training.•Liaised with DJs on availability and content of entertainment.•All ordering, cash handling and banking.
