I am currently an educational support worker with Manchester University and Bolton University. I am directed in my duties by Access Summit and Clearlinks, both of which address the needs of disadvantaged young people wishing to access Higher Education. I am degree educated and possess a P.G.C.E. in the delivery of basic skills in literacy and numeracy in the community. I have in addition to my experience in Higher Education, a background in the support of children between 11-16 in the state education sector. I offer the following skills;Note-taking and library support.Physical disability support.Essay and dissertation support.Awareness and Dfse training in child protection.Extensive understanding and needs of young people in state and higher education.I am passionately interested in classical history and in philosophy. I like to go for walks and attend gymnasiums to maintain a high level of fitness.
