Serving as the Production Flight Chief to the E-3 Programmed Depot Maintenance Flight. Supporting a team of 240 personnel of various skills and supervisory levels. Responsible for the high quality production of the E-3 AWACS through the depot maintenance process. Building an atmosphere of trust and appreciation, resulting in a reduction of flow days and safety mishaps, while increasing morale and quality.

Manage the Services Section of the 551st Commodities Maintenance Squadron. Through the efforts of over 90 employees and 8 supervisors, our teams de-paint, paint, deliver parts, maintain chemical stock levels, distribute tools and equipment, and mange our facility. Lead multiple production shops such as KC-135 Booms, Elevators, and Spoiler/Fillet Flaps.

Directed the maintenance operations of the 97th Maintenance Squadron. Responsible for the overall maintenance leadership of all flights within the 97th Maintenance Squadron. Flights included Fabrication, Accessories, TMDE (PMEL), A.G.E., and Maintenance Flight. Sustained 340 manpower authorizations with 29 various AFSCs, ensuring levels remained adequate. Worked within the allotted fiscal year budget to provide cutting-edge technology and equipment upgrades to improve safety and efficiencies. Advised the Squadron Director on all technical matters. Worked with Aircraft Maintenance Squadron leadership to ensure maximum cohesive efforts are put forth in support of the Wing's mission. Assigned and explained work requirements and operating instructions to subordinate supervisors. Ensured subordinate supervisors effectively carried out policies to achieve management objectives. Maintained work environments which are free from discrimination, harassment and retaliation.

Served as Flight Chief to the Maintenance Squadron Inspection Flight. Led the overall scheduled maintenance of 17 C-17 aircraft and 16 KC-135 aircraft. Directed Home Station Checks, Isochronal Inspections and Hourly Post Flight inspections. Sustained 140 manpower authorizations, ensuring manpower levels were adequate. Mentored subordinate supervisors to ensure a safe and compliant work center for all assigned employees. Reduced inspection days by restructuring FOD policy while maintaining maximum quality, which resulted in a 15% reduction in inspection time.

Served as the Shift Supervisor in the KC-135, KC-46 and the C-17 Sortie Generation Flights, responsible for 50+ manpower authorizations and fleets of up to 17 aircraft. Attended daily production meetings, led roll-call for the shift and managed training and timecard oversight. Managed shift quality oversight and ensured compliance and safety policies were met or exceeded. Led process improvement efforts to increase efficiencies and reduce safety deficiencies. Ensured high moral by maintaining a solid recognition/award program while also insisting corrective actions are made when needed.During this time, worked as a member of the Union Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations team, representing our Wing's Civilian Management, ensuring management rights were not compromised.

Served as the Program Manager in the KC-135 and C-17 Sortie Generation Flights, maintaining numerous maintenance programs, working directly for the Flight Chief. Advised Flight Chief, Shift Supervisors, Pro Supers and Expeditors on changes affecting the Flight. Ensured compliance as the Flight's Self-Inspection Monitor, answering 1000+ MICT checklist items. During this time, I served the AETC IG team as an Augmentee, inspecting multiple AETC bases.

Performed duties of flight line Production Supervisor on the C-5, KC-135 and C-17 flight lines. Directed the everyday production of aircraft sortie generation, maintenance and inspections. Attended several daily meetings to include scheduling, production and turn-over. Ensured compliance and safety policies were met or exceeded. Immediate supervisor of 50+ maintainers of various AFSCs.

Served in the USAF Reserves at McConnell AFB as a KC-135 maintainer. Experience included 3 years as a Crew Chief, 1 year as a Jet Engine Mechanic, 1 year as a Hydraulics Specialist and 5 years as an Electrical/Environmental Specialist.

Led teams of 3 or more in performing maintenance tasks on the C-5 flight line. Worked heavy maintenance tasks such as gear replacement/rebuilding/troubleshooting, engine replacement, flight control component replacement & troubleshooting. Led the C-5 CANN rebuild team, managing 200+ maintenance tasks, documentation and organization, all while ensuring compliance of all applicable tech data. Received a "Zero Defect" during IG inspection of the CANN program.

Maintained the C-5 aircraft while on Active Duty and as a WG-10 civilian mechanic (APG). 100% task qualified, performed all duties as a C-5 "Crew Chief" such as inspections, ground handling & heavy component troubleshooting/replacement. Additional duties include: engine run certifier, vehicle certifier, CPR instructor and task certifier.
