Chief Executive Officer of totally integrated free-standing quaternary pediatric healthcare system in St. Petersburg, Florida. Included main hospital, ten outpatient facilities, management of six units/programs in other hospitals, bench and clinical research programs, resident and fellow training programs, and employment of 135 specialty physicians. New replacement hospital competed in 2009. Completed business integration strategy with Johns Hopkins Medicine in 2011. Served on various national boards and committees.

Managed various projects for client healthcare systems. Major areas of work were strategic plan development and implementation, operational improvement, medical staff needs analyses and plan development, interim management, and evaluation of potential merger/acquisition strategies.

Served as Administrator for this 434-bed tertiary hospital and related clinics, and as COO of the Heath System. Restored operating margin, expanded clinical service offerings, and positioned the organization for a successful merger. Served as a founding Board member for Bay Care Health Network.

Regional Vice President with full profit/loss responsibility for 10-12 proprietary hospitals located throughout the U.S. Supervised on-site administrators. Oversaw a variety of merger, acquisition, divestiture and business combination activities. Served as a company officer in corporate headquarters and served on several Board committees. Participated in taking company public and issuing of IPO.

Served as project leader to develop new medical/surgical and behavioral medicine hospitals throughout the United States for this publicly traded proprietary healthcare company. Responsibilities included pro forma development and internal project approval, site acquisition, facilities design, obtaining all necessary legal and governmental approvals, building community support, and taking the new facility into operation.

Promoted to Executive Vice President position after being hired as a department head. Responsible for clinical services, strategic planning, marketing and development.
