Gary has an extensive resume of experience in the building industry and has been responsible for the delivery of some of Queensland’s most highly acclaimed projects. These include his involvement in the design of the Performing Arts Center, the design of the Concert hall in the Performing Arst Centre and his involvement in the Design, Documentation and Construction delivery of the State Library when working with Robin Gibson, with Bond University, The Gabba Redevelopment, Couran Cove and Cairns Hospital redevelopment the most notable to date with Jackson Architecture.Gary Carter is the Managing Principal of Jackson Architecture (Daryl Jackson Pty Ltd) Brisbane office.In his 28 years with the practice he has been responsible for the delivery of all phases of project development, from masterplan, design through to construction. Gary specialises in design implementation, construction detailing, specification writing and project delivery.Gary has overseen the documentation and development as a lead designer for the ongoing Cairns Base Hospital Redevelopment and has recently completed the role as Design Director for the JCU Australian Institute of Tropical Health & Medicine (AITHM) Townsville, nearing completion of Construction, and follows with the JCU AITHM, Cairns, currently under Construction.
