Gary's expertise is in delivering business outcomes through the design and leadership of programs that transform an organisation's mind-set, culture, behaviour and operating model. As a consultant Gary has designed and led 'change at scale' transformation projects for global organisations in multiple industry sectors; run strategy communication and execution planning programs for numerous executive teams; designed global leadership development programs; conducted executive development and coaching programs across multiple cultures; and, conducted board governance and effectiveness reviews for one of Australia's largest financial institutions. From a change management perspective he is expert at: how to create customer centric cultures by engaging leaders and teams in 'customer experience' focussed business improvement; enabling innovation and operational improvements through agile methodologies and organisation design; improving the effectiveness of executive teams; and, the art of organisation design.As a Director of human resources with Telstra (a telco and one of Australia’s largest companies) Gary played a key role in the transformation of this organisation from government department to listed entity. He was accountable for corporate HR functions (e.g. Remuneration and Benefits, Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, L&D) as well as HR Shared Services and HR Business Partners. Gary's career has encompassed family business, professional sailing, Sport Psychology (member 1988 Australian Olympic team), executive search, management consulting, and corporate executive leadership. Based in Sydney, Gary has worked in south east Asia, India, Middle East, USA, UK and Europe.
