Dynamic 43 year career in dentistry across broad national and international markets, in the dental and cosmetic field. I have been responsible for development of dental implant sales in the UK, Germany,Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Recognised as a highly analytical planner, superb communicator, inspiring team builder. My last 22 years has been in the Mergers & Acquistions of Dental Practices in the private and specialist field, I have huge experience in this part of dentistry, working alongside investors, shareholders, VC and Private Equity partners. A member of the team that led to part buyout of James Hull Associates by private equity in 2006, the deal size IRO 89mI have also advised a number of parties who are considering investing in the dental field, from the US, Europe, Middle and Far East.Under the guidence of Dr James Hull l acquired 63 practices for the group in just over 4 years. I’m now ‘Director of M&A for UK & Europe’ at Portman Dentex, working alongside our CEO Mr Sam Waley-Cohen, we have at present acquired over 450+ private and specialist practices. To date and have personally been responsible for over 500 practice and group acquisitions. I am considered by a number of my peers and colleagues to be one of the leading authorities on the 'Corporate Private Dental Market', having acquired more private and specialist dental practices than any other individual in this sector and in a number of articles been credited with strategising and fundamental recovery of corporate dentistry
