Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland (New Zealand) in 2007, I pursued the Master postgraduate degree in finance at the Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand) and graduated in 2009. Both universities are ranked among the top universities in global education. My studies have advanced my understanding in investments in the financial markets, derivatives and hedging strategies.Upon graduation, I worked as a personal banker at the ASB Bank in Auckland (New Zealand) from 2007 to 2009. I learned to provide world-class customer services and honed my problem-solving and personal communication skills. Between 2010 and 2016, I worked as a public relations officer as well as international affairs specialist in the president’s office of the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER) and then promoted to be a coordinator in the department of international affairs of the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER) as well as the senior public relation officer at the president's office. The job is demanding; it requires excellent communication skills, superb analytical and problem-solving skills, a strong understanding in finance and economics, and excellent skill in writing official reports and media presses in fluent English and Mandarin. And yet, I was able to complete all the tasks with ease. I have also established a strong bond with the media, government officials and embassies/representative offices, and I have spent a considerable amount of time in maintaining those close-knit relationships. In performing the duties of my present position, I have an in-depth understanding of issues pertaining to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), including macroeconomics, persons with disabilities, the internet economy, human resources development and small-medium enterprises. For example, I initiated optimal plans to increase productivities by advancing the capacities of persons with disabilities and foster economic activities through the digital economy.I am enthusiastic, attentive and creative. I thrive on teamwork and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. I embrace any challenges and tasks given to me, and I always strive to provide the very best.In addition to the work experiences, i also enjoy playing the sports, such as basketball, biking, swimming, as well as watch the games with families. Doing the sports can help release my pressure and help getting some good ideas that is beneficial to the projects.
