An experienced Electrical/Avionic Engineering Technician, maintaining all Electrical and Avionic components, systems and equipment on different variants or aircraft.In this role I have to carry out in depth fault diagnosis and health monitoring of complex Electrical Power Generation Systems, Weapons, GPS, Radar and installing these systems with the latest software and upgrades to keep them as upto to date an advanced as possible, utilising the use of Maintenance Procedures. I have used all my skills on many occasions to find highly complex faults within the shortest time periods possible. This in turn minimised the cost of repairs, the amount of man hours used and increased the amount of serviceable aircraft to maintain a strict and hectic flying programme. It has also been my job to train both, younger and older members of the team to improve their knowledge of the complex aircraft systems and workings that is required in my line of work. Also to try develop and motivate them as a highly skilled technician and overall team member to integrate them into an ever changing team.Also complying with ISO9001, Health & Safety and Quality regulations, in particular COSHH and risk assessments pertaining to the task requiredWorking with other nations at home and whilst out of area trying to help improve their methods and also taking ideas away to put into practice in my on field and life.
