"Inveniam Viam Aut Facium" - 'I shall find a way or I shall make one"My skills, experience and passions are in the fields of Social Enteprise, Charities, Community and Faith based organisations, either starting them myself or supporting others to do what drives them. As part of that journey I have provided opportunities for those in my community with disadvantages (economic, socio, physical, sensory, or neurodiverse) to get a foothold on their own ladder. It was nice for that work to be recognised when I was made Honorary Freeman of Cheshire West & Chester in 2021. I operate my own social enterprise with my wife: Inclusive Community Development, act as CEO of Cheshire West Voluntary Action, act as Treasurer and member of the Circuit Leadership Team for a grouping of 25 Methodist Churches in South Cheshire, am founding Director of Whitegate Station Community Cafe and on moving house to Audlem am now Treasurer of ADCA.. Recently many endeavours have been concentrated around the integration of health & social care. I am on the Place Executive for Cheshire West as well as many other related boards such as the Health & Wellbeing Board. My role is ensuring the Community Sector voice is heard and that the sector is treated as "equal partners" in the new world. I wish to use my experience, knowledge, insight, candour and integrity to create a future that puts the individual and the local community at the centre of the system. If you wish to get in touch, please email me at garycliffe@gmail.com
