Key roles include:- Primarily responsible for a team of barristers with a range from Silk to pupils. - First port of call for all clients for my team. - Hold Practice Management meetings. - Dealing with fee queries within the team. - Ensuring fee notes are up to date. - Working closely with BD director to establish existing contacts and look to make new contacts. - Arrange and attend Chambers events both within the UK and offshore, mainly Channel Islands. - Attend meetings with clients to discuss Chambers and develop Relationships for Chambers. - Overseeing the assistant practice managers and junior clerks. - Assist with interviews for other staff roles in chambers. - Be responsible for the Clerks room when the Head of Clerking and Deputy Head of Clerking are not present.

My role at 11SB is to manage and develop the practises of Barristers within Chambers. Within my team I manage the Barristers with years of call between 1991 to 2000. Working closely with the other members of the Clerking team. My key duties include:- Develop and analyse barrister’s practises to further their careers within the legal profession.- Managing and developing key contacts and solicitors for our business. - Determining placement of new work within Chambers – making sure all commitments are undertaken to a high standard.- Negotiate and agree fees for my barristers for all work.- Liaise with Courts and opposing parties to agree dates for any hearing or trial that may be required for each case.- All general administration for my section of the business.
