As a Lead QA Tester, I have extensive experience managing my team of testers, balancing priorities, resource management, following features from design to final implementation, JIRA, problem resolution, and with the agile methodology.I currently have four testers working under my leadership and we handle four major sections of our current project. Every morning I check the tasks for our multiple teams and ensure that the highest priority task is being worked on first. I'm also very good at keeping on top of my e-mails throughout the day in case a higher priority task, or any questions about the current tasks, comes up.I am responsible for checking all features that are newly added for the four teams that I am responsible for along with verifying that previously added features are still functional and without issues. This entails checking the intial design on Confluence to ensure there are no gaps or areas that would lead to customer confusion, then going towards verifying initial implementation, and finally following that implementation through our internal workflow all the way to the customers. Whenever issues arise with any features, new or old, they are immediately reported via JIRA with as much relevant information as possible and then we ensure those issues are fixed properly.I am very familiar with the Agile Methodology as we follow that methodology at Zenimax Online Studios. I attend daily scrum for my teams along with the once a month sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings. I really enjoy this methodology as it keeps everyone within the team informed on all aspects of the feature implementation and provides a place for problems to be called out and resolved in a much quicker fashion.
