My role at Airpower is as store man and salesperson, this role has allowed me to extend my knowledge and experience of industrial products and fittings as well as dealing with counter sales.As part of this role I also visit our customer sites such as G.S.K, Bausch & Lomb, Nypro and Teva Pharmaceuticals ensuring stock levels are optimised and assisting customers in with their requests.My pneumatic knowledge is growing daily dealing with suppliers such as SMC, Festo, IMI Norgren, Schmalz, Atlas Copco, Bambi Sick, Schunk and many more on a daily basis.

In this role I employed as a machine operator however I carried out various tasks assigned to me which included assisting the on-site electricians and fitters.

This role involved site survey and planning as well as a lot of physical outdoor work in all weather conditions.

I worked for Whitechurch Technologies as an Apprentice Electrician carrying out various tasks for domestic and commercial customers in the Munster area. My duties included but were not limited to measuring, cutting of bend wire and conduit. Trace out short circuits in wiring, using a multi-meter for testing. Stripping insulation, wiring of sockets, light fitting and terminations. Examining electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tightening connections, using hand tools as well as constructing control panels. Unfortunately due to the economic downturn at the time I was made redundant and let go.

After completing the Leaving Certificate I spent 4 months working for KWS Plant and Tool Hire as a General Operative gaining experience in dealing with equipment, customers, sales and operating heavy machinery. Another part of my role at KWS involved tool maintenance and servicing. This was a temporary three month role which concluded at the end of December 2007.

Summer months for these 4 years spent working for Gaynors Fruit and Vegetables Products as a General Laborer.
