Retired from Orbital ATK (Hercules) after 36 years. Worked in many different areas. Operations in Ingredient prep, 5 gallon mix, 600 gallon mix, 1800 gallon mix, cast/cure, case prep. Support technician in Manufacturing Engineering writing maintenance work orders, scheduling work in buildings, designing and implementing production aides. Using assets available on plant, created a Process Engineering R&D lab, writing GOP's, Safety procedures for Engineering staff. Recruited by Operations manager as lead technician during construction, testing, and implementation of state of the art manufacturing facility. Worked in Process Engineering as technician, assisting in development of new production processes, wrote GOP procedures, and trained operations in process. Worked for the Titan Program supporting data collection and archiving of Vendor process data. Was certified in works measurement performing internal study of process flows. Worked in Safety and Hazards Analysis performing compatiblity testing, DOT classifications of materials, NDT X-ray creation and inspection. Currently in role of MRB system adminstrator for Pilgrim SmartCAPA system. Helped create training and trained all plant personnel in operation of Pilgrim system. Manage Pilgrim system for Bacchus facility, and support end item book review and motor sell to customer.
