Developed/managed the electrical and software designs for Toin/Fenn’s popular Z Series spring coilers.2. Worked in the Spring Industry since 1989. Supported all Torin/Fenn coilers till 2013 through BHS-Torin and Fenn.3. Software/control system for a 350 HP, 29” dia rolling mill. 1.2M pound force system reduces 6" thick lead castings down to ¼”, 4' wide sheet with a progressive rolling algorithm in 20 mins.4. Software/control system for a 300' long draw bench for superconductor rod. Complex system w/Siemens PLC: (1) Profibus network interfacing 2 HMIs & 3 remote PLCs controlling 10 synchronized servo axes and a 350 HP vector motor. (2) Siemens Technology network connecting 26 more nodes including 23 servo hydraulics axes.5. Designed the Fletcher-Terry CMC Matte Cutter control system sold to the Art and Framing industry. Over 500 sold in a 4 yr period.6. Designed/developed/manufactured the Fletcher-Terry Alta99 control system sold to the Art and Framing industry.7. Software/control system for a Lithium rolling mill capable of producing 10 micron thick product.8. First-in-the-industry complete retrofit of a Torin spring coiler delivered in March 2015.9. First-in-the–industry “Lights-Out” phone app for remote monitoring, troubleshooting and controlling of our tightly integrated control systems. Works on competitor's equipment also! App released mid 2014. Still only phone app in the industry!
