Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and Company owner.Managing 6 Project Managers and 1 Buyer.Total overall control of all Projects, which include the design, supply and installation of Rail and Highways Structures and Foundations (screw piles), Communication Towers, Meteorological Masts.Responsible for all Commercial matters of the company including monthly reports, Applications for Payment & Final Accounts for contracts up to a value of £5,000,000.Reviewing contract documents, attending pre-contract meetings and negotiating Terms & Conditions on potential orders.Negotiation with and appointment of specialist subcontractors including Labour Only and Supply and Install services.Establishing and valuing project variations.Control of project materials and labour costs Good working knowledge of NEC, ICE, CECA, JCT & FIDIC Forms of Contracts.Major Customers include Network Rail, Highways Agency, Arqiva, Everything Everywhere and Western Power Distribution.Playing a major role in the interviewing/appointment of new employees.
