Senior Works ManagerBalfour Beatty Major Projects Mar 2010 - Mar 2013M25Balfour Beatty major projects M25 Section 4 jc 27 to jc 30 and Section 2 jc 5 to jc 7 from 2010 to 2013 contract cost £570 m• M25 upgrade from junction 27 to junction 30 this incorporated one extra lane and hard shoulder both clockwise and anti-clockwise the work consisted of heavy earthworks, deep drainage, bored piles and driven sheet piling, directional drilling, thrust boring, slip forming, PQ concreting, soil nailing, the works where in three phases phase 4a, 4b, and 4c all had three work packages to comple3te and all works was complete 24 weeks ahead of programme and with profit.• M25 section 2 from junction 5 to junction 7 was a managed motorway design which incorporated taking the hard shoulder into a running lane the design detailed that we reconstruct the hard shoulder and install safety emergency laybys every 7 klm for vehicle stopping all these works incorporated the same construction method as on junction 27 to junction 30.

Senior Works ManagerBalfour Beatty Plc Feb 2007 - Aug 2010East London Line From Surrey Quays To Dalston LondonBalfour Beatty Major Projects East London line over ground Project value £680m from 2007 until 2010• This is the main renewal of the east London line that runs from Dalton the new cross gate I was assigned to the south and central section with a value of £315m which involved major bridge renewals and six station refurbishments and track renewals all the civil sections in the main depot including the CSD maintenance building wheel lathe building and heavy wash facility and also the BSP control building the depot alone was £110m this was a very tight programmed project with very important milestones and this also was delivered on programme and budget.New bridge Juno way Depot Bridge• This was a new bridge construction inside the main east London line depot it spanned the London main line from the east and from Kent this was achieved in two separate sections of construction bridge building.Main Depot Bridge section one south side and section two north side• Bored piling was required for the footprint of the bridge base and walls all the depot side was constructed using 2mt high RMD base panels for the main base section which included kickers and starters for the next section of the walls.• The walls were constructed with RMD system formwork with ply face to achieve an F3/U3 finish the walls height was from 1mt to 6mts in height with access rooms between or rail monitoring equipment.Mid span steel bridge section• This section was installed with a full line closure for 48 hrs this required that we installed ballast between the rails 4ft/6ft an cess to accept that steel plates that was required to allow A.LE heavy transporters to pick up the mid span steel bridge and place into position on the pre-constructed bearing shelves this operation only took 2.5 hours due to the detailed planning of the possession..
