Directly supported Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom. Led 60 extensive aircraft repairs encompassing eight different allied and coalition aircraft. Aided in launching 5.8K sorties over 36K flight hours. Singlehandedly identified a batch component fault in the USAF's B-1 Lancer bomber fleet. Upon failure of nose landing gear extension, inspection led to faulty shear pins that did not meet hardness requirements. Identified fault, submitted findings to aerospace engineers, led to grounding of entire fleet and discovery of numerous other faulty shear pins that could fail catastrophically.

Supported 6.3K sorties for Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom/Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa. Efforts maintained an overall 92% maintenance effective rate. Also led a four-person Maintenance Repair Team to Kirkurk, Iraq to repair a disabled C-130J. Under hostile fire and mortar fire, aircraft was repaired and returned to home station in less than 72 hours.
