I also help train the belt press, plate and frame/thickener control operators at the preparation plant site.

I helped develop, promote, test, and sale new specialty mining chemicals with existing Zinkan mining chemical sales representatives. Those sales territories were located in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, New York, Indiana, Illinois, Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, Utah, & Idaho.

As Ashalnd took over Degussa/Stockhausen Mining Chemicals in 2006, I continued my customer sales and service needs to my sales territory in PA, WV, OH, MD, and KY.

I was responsible for servicing, selling, and training of my customer base accounts specializing in polymers, freeze conditioning, dust control, pond treatment, fine coal recovery and, mine reclamation needs in the both the coal and mineral sands mining industry. I had as many as 25 plants to take care of in my customer sales territory. While working for Betz Dearborn I was a water treatment/boiler treatment specialist working in MD, PA, & OH.,

I was responsible for the mine planning and development, mine reclamation, and permitting for the titanium mine production needs for the Australian Mining Company Associated Minerals, LLC located in Perth, Australia.

Initially as a UMWA member I operated the underground shuttle car, roof bolter, and continuous miner at the underground coal mining sections. Later I conducted time studies, conducted mine cost analysis, conducted lab tests on all phases of coal, and conducted surveying and mine mapping at the mine site.

assisted a graduate student in the construction and planning of a wooden mine model for mine ventilation purposes to help him obtain his MS in Mining Engineering specialized in Mine Ventialtion.

As a co-op student at WVU, I was introduced to underground mining practices, such as running shuttle cars, loading machines, roof bolter, continuous mining machines and working on the long-wall at the Robinson Run Mine.
