• Start up new treatment plant. Established operating SOP’s and status as wholesale supplier.• Hire and oversee 16 Operators.• Supervise Operators, scheduling for shift rotation, call out, sick, OT, disciplinary actions, evaluations, raise recommendations, etc. Establish and maintain high levels of engagement by all Operators.• Coordinate staff of operations to work with Management Staff. • Budget preparation and spending. Prepare operations budget including Electrical costs – as performance measure, Chemicals – as performance measure, annual bid for chemicals, solids collection and disposal costs, salary, benefits and OT. Purchasing:contracts for on-line instrument maintenance with costs, equipment and supplies for operating. Operations budget is 3.2 million of approx 7.3 million total.• Reports – Monthly Operating Report (MOR), New Mexico Environmental Division (NMED) Drinking Water Division, compliance report, CT, etc. Office of the State Engineer (OSE) water rights use the previous month for 3 partners with BDD – City of Santa Fe – County of Santa Fe – and Las Campanas LLC. This report is coordinated with folks from each entity. The OSE is also part of a monthly NPDES report to EPA prepared by the Compliance Officer. Call for water to be released from storage reservoirs above our diversion to use all annual partner water rights accurately. Monthly meter readings, Chemical inventory report, help with the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR).• Coordinate with Compliance Officer on automatic shutdown system called Emergency Notification System (ENS) that gives warnings and actually shut down the river diversion in the event of potential contamination from legacy radiological waste from the Los Alamos National Laboratory. I am responsible for this system.• Monthly Board meetings.• Note: Everything else has included working without someone filling the Facility Manager Position since August of 2012. The whole staff has been performing at a very high level.
