Gary Durrant is the President and Founder of Durrant Sports Management Inc. and is a well-respected and prominent figure in the North American and International basketball communities. Gary enjoys a successful career that has been immersed in all levels of basketball, from professional player, to coach, to front office executive, and TV analyst. He understands the intricacies of the game of basketball. As a certified NBA player agent licensed with the NBPA and FIBA, Gary Durrant provides his clients with a unique approach that draws on his lifetime of experiences and contacts in basketball, education, and business. Prior to launching Durant Sports Management, Gary was a Teacher with York Regional District School Board. Gary was also a Liaison Officer working to foster strong relationships between the school board and the Black community. Gary founded and operated annual basketball camps with Gary Durrant Basketball Association. He also worked as a TV personality. Before teaching, Gary played basketball professionally in Italy. Gary was the 1999 NCAA Slam Dunk Champion while attending Florida Atlantic University on a full scholarship.Gary is a seasoned Motivational Speaker specializing in Youth Mentorship, Leadership, and Advocacy. Gary has also provided high-quality Leadership Training & Teambuilding Workshops for corporations & NGOs such as IBM and the Toronto Construction Association.As a community leader Gary has received awards from respected entities such as York Regional Police.
