Eagle Enterprises (EAGLEe) is a Houston-based consulting company committed to building sustainable communities. Our objectives include providing youth development training, peer mediation, parent education, pre-marital and marriage education, anger management therapy sessions, family wellness curricula, and support for individuals and caregivers dealing with special needs and/or brain disorders. We offer monthly parent support group meetings in Northeast Harris county and conduct a minimum of 2 training sessions surrounding brain disorder education and advocacy per year. We also help families construct webs of support that fit their individual lifestyles. EAGLEe operates through initiatives and contracts that increase positive outcomes in the lives of youth and families using research-based curricula and implementing best-practices; with an emphasis on training leaders and social service personnel. We provide training throughout the Greater Houston area and nationally with a specific focus on the most under-served populations.Our work has included working with such organizations as the National Association of Community Action Agencies, National Association of Drug Court Professionals, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Catholic Charities, the Juvenile Justice Association of Texas, Louisiana Nurse-Family Partnerships, Prevent Child Abuse Illinois, Decatur County Department of Child Services, LinkUp Greater Houston, Family Services of Greater Houston, Kid Central Florida, and school districts in the U.S. and Canada.

The City of Refuge EDC (CORE DC) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, community-based organization. Under CORE DC's umbrella, we offer a variety of programs that demonstrate the organization’s mission to respond to community needs. We were established in August 2003 by Dr. Ron Eagleton, as COREDC. His passion to see a change in the Barrett Station community encouraged him to build a framework to extend educational and employment opportunities. During its early years, the organization’s programs provided career development, transition training and educational services. In June 2009, the non-profit organization was reinstated and established as a community development corporation with a focus on strengthening families throughout Northeast county. Currently, our empahsis is on parents and caregivers, as well as children and teens in preparation for adulthood. Subscribing to research-based models and best practices, all indicators confirm that the impact of the home environment on school learning is significant. Hence, many of our projects focus on home life, relationships, and parental involvement.Our focus on "Touching the CORE of Man" strives to support fundamental changes in the “core” of society; in the home, in the family, and ultimately, in the person.
