Gary has extensive experience in Oracle Database Administration, Data Warehousing, Data Mining, PL/SQL development, Oracle Applications Suites, Unix / Windows systems installation and administration, enterprise-wide Email administration, and computer networking.At Enkitec, Gary is supporting clients through their Remote Database Administration program. At Southwest Research Institute®, Gary was an Oracle PL/SQL developer and Oracle9i / 10g DBA working on a large scheduling re-engineering project. He installed and configured the Oracle RAC cluster for the project, develops PL/SQL routines for database loading, and systems administration. Gary has also had been involved with Data Warehousing and Data Mining efforts. Additionally at SwRI, he was part of the DBA team responsible for the Institute's internal project accounting and financial data systems, and monitored and provided Oracle support for other divisions. As a consultant with ThinkSpark / Database Consultants, Inc, Gary worked with an extensive client list providing Oracle Database Administration, installation and configuration, and tuning of Oracle based systems. He has an extensive knowledge of the Oracle Applications Suite of products, providing administration and customizing of the software. In addition, Gary also performed Unix / Windows administration duties, Email administration, and computer network installation, configuration and administration.Gary has worked on a wide range of computer platforms including Oracle Enterprise Linux, DEC VAX/VMS, HP-Unix, IBM RS/6000, IBM AIX, , Sun Sparc, Intel-Based Windows/DOS, Apple Macintosh/PowerPC, and Intel based RedHat systems. His programming language experience includes PL/SQL, C, Pascal, Fortran, COBOL, database reporting tools such as Oracle Reports, SQR, Crystal Reports and many other system-specific languages.
