I’m an executive leader with extensive experience bringing together people to deliver great service quality for customers.From 2003 until my retirement in 2022 I was the CEO / Senior Vice President of DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, responsible for operations in Australia and Papua New Guinea.After first starting my career at Trans Australia Airlines (now the domestic arm of Qantas), I joined DHL Express in 1986 where I have had the opportunity to work in roles spanning Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Asia Pacific.During the last 19 years, DHL Express Oceania has overachieved its budget every year and maintained its market leadership position. On a strategic basis we have been successful in building our capability in Oceania by investing in key infrastructure, building the brand and recruiting the best people. We extended our product portfolio in order to expand our revenue streams and we have built our brand through major sponsorships such as Surf Life Saving Australia. With 2,000 employees, we dominate the international express market throughout Oceania.In 2016, I was named the recipient of the Transport and Logistics Executive of the Year award.DHL Express was recently named the 2nd Best Place to Work in Australia for 2021.I currently serve on the boards of Tasman Cargo Airlines, Prince Consulting Group and Heart Research Australia I’m proud to have built strong businesses and leadership teams that have created real value in global trade.
