Notable Projects:- AfricaEngage – R 1m: Executed a total refresh of the existing Deloitte Partner Portal running on SharePoint 2013, and developed new features which enabled partners to collaborate/socialise efficiently.- Managed the changes to the overall partner experience, prioritised announcements, provided events calendar and integrated with MS Dynamics CRM for WIP and New Wins.Succeeded in delivering a new fresh-feel portal which presented a number of new features and provided valuable content for a mobile application.- Contract Management System – R 5m: Due to the number of contracts completed on a daily basis, it was recognised that the organisation needed a new solution to handle this process. Addressed the complex and dynamic regulatory environment including the contractual demands of clients and other external parties.Tackled the ever-increasing challenges of the contracts with all associated partners, clients and vendors, with particular focus on Master Services Agreements (MSA).Removed the need to store contract documents on file servers and physical form, and implemented a new efficient way of retrieving all information to enable reporting.Supported key post signature obligations and managed contract version control at the time of negotiation involving multiple parties. Notable Projects/Programmes:- Exchange and Active Directory Upgrade 64bit – R 1.5m: Due to the subsequent ending of Microsoft’s mainstream support, there was an urgent requirement to upgrade the Exchange and Active Directory infrastructure and environments.Deloitte South Africa was the first country out of 150 operating locations that performed the upgrade, and the subsequent approach was adopted as a framework for future projects.Upgrade of Deloitte Windows and SQL Environment – R 3m: The business recognised the need to upgrade the Microsoft Windows and SQL systems to Microsoft Windows 2012 and SQL 2012. This was part of a global directive to have all server operating systems running on the same version. Took ownership for the management of the application stakeholders to ensure the testing and signoff of the upgraded versions.Devised a strategy for the handling of ‘non-compliant’ applications that included plans for replacement or liaised with vendors to source possible solutions.
