Provided work control services through my knowledge of : Tagout User Manual (TUM) Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) specifically Vol IV, Chapt 10 Ship Safety Manual for Submarines 6010.Initiated and maintained a list of systems needed for support of Nuclear testing per N/S 4730.1

06/2008 to 6/2011 During the six months that the CVN-73 is under repair, I supported Ship Repair Facility-Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) by writing the Work Authorization Forms (WAF) and associated tag-outs that keep the workers safe as they are accomplishing the repairs, modifications or system upgrades. I have served as the habitability representative for SRF-JRMC at the ships habitability meetings that not only make the ship livable again after the repair period, but also coordinate outages, such as loss of electrical pwr, loss of plumbing and potable water during the ongoing repair period. I have also served as the Ship Safety representative for SRF-JRMC at the Ship Safety Meetings that coordinate work that can put the ship in jeopardy, such as loading/off loading fuel, loading/off loading freon, installation/removal of cofferdams and blanks that affect the water tight integrity of the ship. During the 2011 availability, I was part of the Regional Maintenance Modernization Coordination Office (RMMCO). I served as the sole point of contact for WAF's and tagouts for outside contractors accomplishing system upgrades. These upgrades included Weapons elevator changes to an electronic touch screen system, many combat systems electronic upgrades both hardware and software improvements, and improvements to the aircraft recovery system. For the 2010 early start availability, I served as the work control manager while my supervisor was at training and on leave. During this time I scheduled and coordinated the month long early start and preplanned the initial start of the availability. I did this with a new Work Control Data program that was issued to us six weeks earlier. This meant training my coworkers as well as me in the use of this new program. By the use of this program we were able to meet all of the projects scheduled dates.
