Plan, develop, market and deliver disaster performance improvement and training opportunities in coordination with the Emergency Management Institute and Regional Offices. The Disaster Field Training Operations provides training to the Federal disaster workforce in support of FEMA's mission.

• Identified and developed mitigation techniques to secure military assets from loss and sabotage, insured that Army Commands are implementing the most current force protection changes as directed • Developed and implemented procedures and guidelines that involved physical security, protection of varying security interest, including arms, ammunition, inspections, crime prevention and security forces operations• Performed risk analysis and threat assessments to mitigate loss of assets essential and/or vulnerable from espionage, sabotage, and theft trough intelligence gathering and BOLOs• Developed static and mobile standard operating procedures in reference to the management of mass vehicle and personnel searches, and targeting specific vehicles for screening • Advised Army Commands on tactics, techniques, and procedures in the development of checkpoint operations and current technology integration in security operations overseas • Advised Army Commands on the most current doctrine in the rules of engagement and the use of force and firearms implementation criteria in their current theatre of operations
