Maintenance and Continuous Improvements.PLC and ScadaI held the In House Licence and was responsible for Small Projects, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement to the production facility. I was involved with setting up the maintenance system Empac, which consisted of Data entry for an Asset Register, Bill of Materials and Planning maintenance schedules. I was heavily involved with the plants upgrade in 2002. I was responsible for the removal of Siemens S5 PLC’s and Installation of new Allen Bradley 5/05. The existing PLC’s had little or no Documentation and a large amount of back round work was needed. Over the course of 2 years 38 PLC’s were changed and the new 5/05 PLC’s were online and tied in to the operator interface system.
