Gary Flint is a Chief Engineer for Honda R&D Americas and was the Large Project Leader for the development of the 2005 Ridgeline truck with overall executive responsibility from planning through development completion. Prior to his work on Ridgeline, Flint served as Body Project Leader and Assistant Large Product Leader for the 1999 Acura TL, and Assistant Project Leader for both the 2001 Acura CL Coupe and the preliminary development of the 2004 Acura TL. Flint joined Honda R&D Americas in 1994 and has worked at the company’s Ohio Center, home to Honda’s vehicle engineering design and development work in North America. Prior to joining Honda, Flint spent 15 years with GM working in a variety of areas including development of composite materials and body design. He earned a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is Licensed Professional Engineer and a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
